Soft Cedar Presents: Brasstronaut, Peach Pyramid & Mark Mills

"Rock out with your tots out!"

The four artists performing are Mark Mills, Balkin Schmalkin, Peach Pyramid and headlining will be Brasstronaut.

The show will run 1-5pm, with space in between each musical performance for food, drink and shopping. Including a barbecue, food trucks and a local market.

Soft Cedar was created to provide opportunities for local musicians to produce unforgettable concert experiences for their audiences. A values based organization committed to gender equality, accessibility and community development. This is a family friendly afternoon, festival style concert. Providing a place for young families to come and hang out, and listen to great music!

For 28 years, the Harmony Arts Festival, presented by Odlum Brown Limited, has been one of the North Shore’s most popular cultural events. The free festival draws crowds from all over the Lower Mainland to celebrate a harmonious balance of visual, culinary and performing arts on the spectacular West Vancouver waterfront.
 
Join us for world-class musical performances, inspiring art exhibitions and demonstrations, mouth-watering culinary events and enjoy the natural beauty of the setting. With over 150 free events set on a stunning backdrop of the iconic Stanley Park, there is something for everyone at the Harmony Arts Festival.
 
The Harmony Arts Festival takes place in West Vancouver along the waterfront on Argyle Avenue, from 14th to 16th Street. Festival sites include John Lawson Park, Millennium Park, Ambleside Landing, the Music Box, the Silk Purse and the Ferry Building Gallery.

The West 4th Avenue Khatsahlano Street Party is Vancouver’s largest free Music + Arts Festival!

Created with love in 2011 by the members of the Kitsilano West 4th Avenue Business Association, Khatsahlano, features multiple stages showcasing more than 50 of Vancouver’s top musical performers as well as the eclectic work of local artisans and street performers. This 10-block street fair, spanning from Burrard to MacDonald Street also features a wide variety of food options, bustling patios, giveaways, special activities, and licensed beer gardens!

THE SHIPYARDS CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL and lighting of the TREE

Winter artisan market from 4-10pm in the Pipeshop.

Skywheel on the Pier from 4-10pm.

The Shipyards will be transformed into a winter wonderland, filled with the sound of music, carols and the inviting smell of free warm coffee, tea and hot chocolate. This family-friendly event will include free fun for all! Enjoy ornament/lantern making, gingerbread decorating, storytime tent, face painting, balloon creations, and Christmas carols. Of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be paying a visit. Take a picture with Santa from 5:30-7pm. Stick around for The Burrard Yacht club with sail by at 7:15pm.

The Mayor will officially light the City’s Christmas tree, located under crane at 5:00pm and the activities and fun continue until 7:00pm.

On stage entertainment includes performances by The Beauty Shop Dolls, Windsor Senior Chamber Choir and Seymour Dance school.
